About: Dr. Uzodinma Adirieje is Zonal Coordinator of Civil Society Coalition on Sustainable Development (CSCSD) in Nigeria’s South Eastern Zone. In 2017-18, he led 9 High Level Advocacy Teams to govts of 9 Sates of Nigeria’s Niger Delta to promote the concept of ‘sustainable citizen participation (SCP)’ - a United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF)-funded program implemented in 81 local councils of Niger Delta by Afrihealth Optonet Association, as the CEO. Dr. Adirieje was invited by Govt of Nigeria to support her voluntary national reviews (VNR) in 2017 and later presided over the CSOs meeting at SDGs Conference in Lagos by CSCSD. He’s Member, Steering Group, HLPF MGoS Coordination Mechanism and MGoS HLPF Reform Task Group; National President, Nigerian Association of Evaluators; Chair, Nat’l World Malaria Day Committee, Nigeria; Chair, Nat’l Technical Working Group, Nigeria Platform for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (NiPBES); South East Zonal Coordinator, Civil Society Coalition for Sustainable Development (CSCSD); President General, Ebenasaa [Community] Progressive Union
